MWA is one of the nation’s oldest professional organizations for crime and mystery writers, and SleuthFest focuses on practical training for authors who want to advance their craft and careers.
Kenner’s book, Tarot for Writers, is the definitive guide to creativity with the cards. For SleuthFest, she showed how tarot cards can help writers craft compelling mysteries in a matter of minutes. She covered plot and story structure, explained how to place clues and red herrings, and demonstrated how tarot cards can generate a slate of suspects with clear means, motives and opportunities.
Cielle Kenner also writes magical mysteries with a time-travel twist. She is the founder of Cielle Media, a company that makes her original stories available for optioning and adaptation and offers producers a clear, commercial catalog across film, television, audio and digital media.
